The Rock Christ Jesus has provided the very foundation on which the
ministry of All Nations Church has been built.
He continues to lead us.
God is calling us to come alongside Him in this great adventure of
faith.
Building on the Rock for Tomorrow is the capital campaign for our
congregation's new home on 14 acres of land near the downtown core, off
St. Raphael Street. This name has been chosen to glorify the vision of God
in teaching us to build on the foundation of the rock (Matthew 7:24-26).
Your pastors, elders and staff are united in the belief that this is
God's season for All Nations Church. We are mindful that our unity is
crucial and that a house divided amongst itself will not stand (Luke 11..
17).
Pastor John Laster from Horizons Stewardship Company will oversee our
capital campaign. Hawkey Church Management will undertake the management
and construction of this project. They have already built over 450
churches and never gone over budget. All costs will be presented to the
congregation before construction proceeds.
Prayer is the cornerstone of our capital campaign. It is through prayer
that the Word of God will commission each of us to action. Pray over
meals, pray In your quiet devotional time, pray with your small group.
Pray and seek God for his guidance. Ask God what He requires you to do. In
this way, we know that God will exceed our expectations.
Throughout this prayer campaign, you will hear reference to our theme.
"Not an equal share but an equal sacrifice". We ask that all gifts be
sacrificial gifts. Look into your heart and remember the widow's penny
(Mark 12:41-44) for as we know, where your treasure is, there your heart
will also be (Matthew 6: 19-21).
During this prayer campaign, the Prayer/VISION team will provide
creative opportunities to help you pray. Participate in as many of these
opportunities as you are able. Pray for guidance in being good stewards
and faithful with the talents that God has given us (Matthew 25: 14-29).
Building on the Rock for Tomorrow
will flourish under the seed of faith
with your prayers.
